Kandaka

Name inspired by the Revolutionary Nubian Queen, “Kandaka” is a title for queens and queen mothers of the ancient African Kingdom of Kush (referred to in parts of East Africa, also called Nubia, Sudan, and Ethiopia). This handmade waistbead is made with a combination of thin black and white beads in addition to rectangular white and gold beads with some medium-sized round blue and gold beads. Made with cotton threads and comes in 55 inches so you can adjust to size upon delivery. Handmade by women in Ghana.
